EHS PTSA Meeting minutes October 20, 2020 via Google Meet @ 5pm

Carole called the meeting to order at 5:00pm

Dustin and Andy approved the last months meeting minutes

Principal Update: Brandan said it’s been a good month.  Everyone has been compliant with Covid rules.  They are planning for next year using the October official enrollment and planning the budget.  Next semester will be the same schedule but we are on the verge of 100% remote due to the 5% infection rate for Colorado.

The foundation raised over $64,000

The new athletic director is working on a branding deal with either Nike or UnderArmor for all athletic gear and spirit wear.  Once a new logo is approved we can use spirit wear give away for student membership into the PTSA.  First 100 sign ups get a free item, possibly a beanie depending on cost.

Financial Report: Stacy stated latest balance is $11,308.39.  25 new members and 3 are students.

Need to file for new insurance effective 11/1/20 - Approved

Certificate of insurance is needed for the Lake House Senior Luncheon

Stacy is putting together a timeline of due dates

A budget will be sent out before the next meeting

New Business: Carole said she attended a Student Senate meeting and we need to support their initiatives.  They are doing a charity drive.

Christina and Madeline requested a better message in Messenger, maybe a video

Also need a new website.  Dustin will send Carole info on research he has done into a new website.

Bylaws: Need to be updated

Financial Audit: Need 3 volunteers.  Stacy may have two people and KC O’Leary volunteered

Board Membership: Crystal will update:

Christina to be removed

Betsy will help with seniors

Amy will help with seniors

Senior Events: Betsy and Amy to brainstorm and run everything by Brandan.

PTSA Membership: Madeline to compose and email to encourage friends to join PTSA.  Will send to Carole for review

Teacher Appreciation: Sign up Genius for Christmas.  One goodie bag per employee.  Looking to sponsor a mobile coffee truck
